Requirement: EV mode must be active link►.
The active accelerator indicates via a point of resistance felt by the driver that the combustion engine has been activated. The point of resistance varies depending on the charge level of the high-voltage battery. In addition, the accelerator uses information from the predictive efficiency assist function and emits a pulse signal to indicate when the driver should take his or her foot off the accelerator to drive more efficiently link►.
You can switch the point of resistance and the pulse signal on/off separately on the infotainment system.
Select the following on the infotainment system: MENU button > Car > left control button > Driver assist > Efficiency assist > Accelerator pedal feedback. Or:
Select the following on the infotainment system: MENU button > Car > left control button > Vehicle settings > Accelerator pedal feedback.
Efficiency assist
When this function is activated, pulse signals from the accelerator will be used to indicate predictive feedback from the system.
Activation point for combustion engine
When this function is activated, the activation point for the combustion engine is indicated as a point of resistance via the accelerator:
- Accelerator before point of resistance: vehicle is operating in electric mode.
- Accelerator at point of resistance: vehicle is operating at limits of electric mode.
- Accelerator beyond point of resistance: combustion engine is activated.
