Applies to vehicles: with long centre console
The long centre console contains several storage compartments and a screen* which blocks the view into the luggage compartment.
Cup holder
Lightly press the cover Fig. 1 -arrow- to make it open automatically WARNING!.
Fold the cover down again to close the compartment.
Storage compartment in centre console
Lift the cover by the handle at the front to open the compartment Fig. 1.
Fold the cover down again to close the compartment.
Adjusting the armrest height
Press the release button Fig. 1. The armrest is raised automatically.
Let go of the release button when the desired height has been reached.
Press the release button again and, at the same time, push the armrest down to lower it.
Screen*
Press the screen Fig. 2 -A- into the retainers so that it covers the opening between the seats WARNING!.
Pull the screen out of the retainers to remove it again.
Storage compartment* under screen
Turn the catch Fig. 2 -B- anti-clockwise to open the compartment.
Turn the catch clockwise to close the compartment.
- Do not put any hot drinks in the cup holders while the vehicle is moving. You could be scalded if the hot liquid is spilt.
- Do not use hard china cups or glasses. These could cause injury in the event of an accident.
- The screen* is not intended for securing loads in the luggage compartment - risk of accident! Always use the load guard Link to prevent loose objects from being thrown forward into the passenger compartment (e.g. under sudden braking).
Caution!
You should avoid putting open drinks containers in the cup holders. The drinks could otherwise spill over and cause damage to e.g. the electrical equipment or the seat covers.
