Applies to vehicles: with handset for the car telephone kit
The factory-fitted handset is already bonded to the car telephone
kit.
You may have to bond the handset to the car telephone kit if the
connection is not established automatically. The bonding procedure
is started from the handset.
In the Bluetooth settings menu of the MMI system, set
Discoverability to
on for the bonding process

Press the right control button -3-

to call up the main menu.
Select the main menu Settings using
the navigation button -5-

on the handset.
Use the navigation button of the handset to select the menu option
Bluetooth and press the control button
for Ok.
Select the menu option Veh. base station
and press the control button for Ok.
The available vehicle base station will be displayed (e.g. "AUDI
MMI 2613").
Select the vehicle base station (e.g. "Audi MMI 2613") and press
the control button for Conn. on the
handset.
To establish the connection, turn the rotary pushbutton of the MMI
system to Yes and press the rotary
pushbutton. A 16-digit PIN code will appear on the MMI display.
To enter the PIN code displayed, turn the rotary pushbutton of the
MMI system to Yes again and press to
confirm.
Enter this PIN code on the handset while the vehicle is stationary
and press the control button for Ok.
You will be given about 30 seconds to complete the entry.
To enter any 16-digit PIN code, turn the rotary pushbutton of the
MMI system to No and press the rotary
pushbutton. The speller will appear on the MMI display.
Enter any 16-digit PIN code.
Turn the speller to OK and press the
rotary pushbutton.
Then enter the same 16-digit PIN code on the handset while the vehicle
is stationary and press the control button for
Ok. You will be given about 30 seconds
to complete the entry.
The exact name of the Bluetooth-capable base station on your vehicle
(e.g. "AUDI MMI 2613") can be retrieved using the
Bluetooth name function

The handset can be deleted from the list of Bluetooth devices
