You can adjust the settings on the MMI system, e.g. in order to restrict operation of the Audi tablet for children.
Select: MENU button > Settings > Audi tablet settings.

When this function is activated

When this function is activated access to the media sources (e.g. radio, DVD drive) on the MMI is enabled. The files from the internal flash memory on the Audi tablet can be accessed without restriction.

You can use this function as an operating aid for your passengers. When the function is confirmed, the home screen -1- Fig. 1 is displayed on all Audi tablets currently connected.
Switch to MMI media source
In the settings on the Audi tablet ►Link you can output the audio playback to the vehicle's loudspeakers. The following settings are available:
- always: Your passengers can send the audio output from the Audi tablet directly to the vehicle's loudspeakers without any restrictions.
- never: None of your passengers can send the audio output from the Audi tablet to the vehicle's loudspeakers.
Navigation destinations
You can send navigation destinations from the Audi map app to the MMI system. The following settings are available:
- always: Your passengers can send navigation destinations from the Audi tablet directly to the MMI system without any restrictions.
- never: None of your passengers can send the navigation destination from the Audi tablet to the MMI system.
- if requested: This option is activated when the vehicle leaves the factory. Before the navigation destination can be sent from the Audi tablet to the MMI system, you are asked on the MMI system whether you want to allow this.

You can set the measurement units on the MMI system. The measurement units on the MMI system are synchronised with the Audi tablet ►Link.
