Applies to: vehicles with Audi tablet
You can set the sound from the audio/video source to be played over the vehicle's loudspeakers or the headphones on the Audi tablet.
The audio output over the vehicle's loudspeakers can be activated for the left or right Audi tablet. At the same time, the audio output for the other Audi tablet can be transmitted to wireless or wired headphones.
- To set the audio output to the vehicle's loudspeakers: Swipe your finger downwards from the top edge of the screen to open the notifications menu -15- Fig. 1.
- Tap on AUDIO SHARING or CANCEL AUDIO SHARING.
Important: The Audi tablet must be connected to the MMI system ►Link. The function Allow access to media sources must be activated. Refer to ►Link.
The following table provides an overview of the audio output status. The corresponding symbol is displayed at position -3- Fig. 2:

If audio output from one of the Audi tablets is directed to the vehicle's loudspeakers while an MMI media source is being played, and if the audio share has been activated, the MMI source will be switched over.
