Stand beside the vehicle with the door open.
Grip the front end of the soft top and pull the soft top all the way out ►.
Press down the front part of the soft top against the windscreen frame Fig. 54►.
Remove the cap on the inside of the soft top Fig. 55►.
Insert the release tool in the opening and turn it clockwise as far as the stop.
To check whether the soft top is properly secured, try to lift it by pressing against the top of the roof from below. It will not be possible to lift the soft top if it is secured correctly.
