You can edit contacts in the local MMI memory (private/public) any time.
Important: The directory must first be opened Link.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to select a contact and press the rotary pushbutton. The address card will appear on the MMI display.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Edit contact and press the rotary pushbutton. The input menu will appear on the MMI display.
To edit the data of a contact, turn the rotary pushbutton to an entry field and press the rotary pushbutton.
To edit a contact from the mobile phone or SIM card, turn the rotary pushbutton to Create copy for editing and press the rotary pushbutton. A copy of the contact will be stored in the local MMI memory (private). If the option Restricted use of telephone is activated, a copy of the contact is stored in the local MMI memory (public).
Note
Contacts that have been edited in the directory cannot be updated automatically by the MMI on the connected mobile phone or SIM card. We recommend that you edit contacts on a mobile phone or SIM card directly on the mobile phone.
