If you cannot remove the charging connector from the vehicle charging connection, a malfunction may have occurred. The vehicle charging connector will have to be released manually.
If it is also not possible to release the vehicle charging connector using the button link, a malfunction has occurred. You will need to release the charging connector mechanically by hand.
Important: The selector lever must be in position P, the vehicle must be unlocked and the charging cycle must have been interrupted or finished.
Open the bonnet link.
Take the screwdriver out of the vehicle tool kit link. Use the flat-blade side of the reversible insert.
Insert the screwdriver through the opening and position it against the light-coloured lever. Then pull the screwdriver slightly forwards. A torch or other light may be helpful when releasing the mechanism manually.
Unplug the connector.
Drive to a qualified workshop without delay and have the fault rectified.
If the charging connector cannot be removed after the manual release procedure, you should obtain professional assistance.
