Applies to: vehicles with plug-in hybrid drive
The charging connector can be manually released via an electromechanical button provided that there is still electrical power to the vehicle charging connection.
If you cannot remove the charging connector from the vehicle charging connection, a malfunction may have occurred. The vehicle charging connector will have to be released manually.
Important: The selector lever must be in position P, the vehicle must be unlocked and the charging cycle must have been interrupted or finished.
Press and hold the immediate charge button -3- Fig. ►.
At the same time, press the button on the remote control key.
Unplug the connector.
Drive to a qualified workshop without delay and have the fault rectified.
If the charging connector cannot be removed after the manual release procedure, you should obtain professional assistance.
