Applies to Audi A3s: with plug-in hybrid drive
If necessary, unlock the Audi A3.
Ensure that the selector lever is in position P and the Audi A3 status is not ready ►Link.
To open the cover on the charging unit, turn the catch to the vertical position Fig. 1.
If necessary, push the cover carefully to the side.
Pull the cap off the charging connection Fig. 2.
Connect the mains plug -B- or -C- to the power outlet Fig. 3.
Plug the Audi A3 charging connector -E- Fig. 3 into the Audi A3 charging connection Fig. 2. If no charging timer is set, the charging process will start automatically.
Note
Use a small brush and a solvent-free de-icer spray to remove ice and snow from the cover.
