Applies to Audi A1s: with xenon headlight bulbs
The following instructions for changing the bulb apply to xenon headlights.
Removing bulb for turn signal
Remove the headlight Link.
Turn the cover anti-clockwise -1- Fig. 1 and remove it.
Press together the tabs on the two opposite sides and pull out the grey plastic connector Fig. 2.
Press in the tab on the grey plastic connector and pull off the bulb together with the holder.
Installing bulb for turn signal
Fit the new bulb into the grey plastic connector.
Use a clean cloth to remove any fingerprints from the glass part of the bulb.
Install the grey plastic connector together with the bulb.
Fit the cover, making sure it engages correctly (position -2-).
Re-install the headlight Link.
Note
Make sure that the cover is correctly seated to ensure that water cannot enter the headlight housing and to prevent the headlight from malfunctioning.
