Applies to Audi A1s: with halogen headlights
The following instructions for changing the bulb apply to halogen headlights.
Removing bulb for turn signal
Remove the headlight Link.
Pull off the cover Fig. 1.
Pull out the bulb holder.
Lightly press the defective bulb into the bulb carrier, then turn it anti-clockwise and remove it.
Installing bulb for turn signal
Fit the new bulb, pressing it into the bulb holder and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
Use a clean cloth to remove any fingerprints from the glass part of the bulb.
Insert the bulb holder.
Fit the cover.
Re-install the headlight Link.
Note
Make sure that the cover is correctly seated to ensure that water cannot enter the headlight housing and to prevent the headlight from malfunctioning.
