Applies to Audi A1s: with halogen headlights
The following instructions for changing the bulb apply to halogen headlights.
Removing bulb for daytime running light / side light
Remove the headlight Link.
Release the cover -arrow- and remove it Fig. 1.
Take hold of the bulb holder and pull it out Fig. 2.
Pull the bulb out of the holder.
Installing bulb for daytime running light / side light
Fit the new bulb.
Use a clean cloth to remove any fingerprints from the glass part of the bulb.
Insert the bulb holder through the opening and push it forwards.
Refit the cover, making sure it engages correctly.
Re-install the headlight Link.
Note
Make sure that the cover is correctly seated to ensure that water cannot enter the headlight housing and to prevent the headlight from malfunctioning.
