Applies to: vehicles with plug-in hybrid drive
Once the charging or air conditioning cycle has finished, the vehicle switches to sleep mode. In this mode, none of the displays on the operating unit is visible.
The vehicle charging connector is locked during and after charging. The connector has to be released in order to disconnect it.
Deactivating sleep mode
Unlock the vehicle link►. Or:
Open the driver s door. Or:
Press button -1- or -3- Fig. ►.
Releasing the vehicle charging connector when the vehicle is locked
Unlock the vehicle. The connector is released for 30 seconds.
Unplug the connector.
If the connector is not disconnected within 30 seconds, it will automatically be locked again.
Releasing the vehicle charging connector when the vehicle is unlocked
If necessary, deactivate sleep mode.
Press the button on which the LED is lit (-1- or -3- Fig. ►). Or:
Press the button on the remote control key Fig. ►.
The connector is released for 30 seconds.
Unplug the connector.
If the connector is not disconnected within 30 seconds, it will automatically be locked again.
Closing the charging unit
Refit the cap on the charging connection Fig. ►.
Close the cover.
CAUTION
No warning is given if the charging unit is open or not locked. Before you start a journey, please check that the cover is properly closed.
