The term "vehicle battery" refers to the 12 Volt battery in your vehicle.

Your vehicle is equipped with a vehicle battery and a high-voltage battery.
When the vehicle battery is discharged, you can, as with a conventional vehicle, charge it using a battery charger or start the vehicle using jump leads connected to the vehicle battery of another vehicle.
CAUTION
Do not use your vehicle to jump-start another vehicle. This would cause serious damage to your vehicle s electrical system.
