The rear of the Audi Q7 can be lowered to facilitate loading.

Important: All doors on the Audi Q7 must be closed.
Open the boot lid.
Press the bottom part of the button Fig. 164►-2- . The rear of the Audi Q7 will then be lowered.
Press the top part of the button -1-. The rear of the Audi Q7 will be lifted again.
The rear of the Audi Q7 is lifted automatically when a different mode is selected or when the Audi Q7 exceeds a speed of about 2 km/h.
The LED in the button lights up while the Audi Q7 is being lowered. Once the loading height has been reached, the LED remains lit as long as the rear of the Audi Q7 is in the lowered position. The LED goes out again when the Audi Q7 is raised to its original position.
CAUTION
Before raising the rear of the Audi Q7, please make sure that there is sufficient clearance above the Audi Q7, especially if the boot lid is open.
Note
  • The Audi Q7 will not be lowered if one of the doors is open or if there is insufficient pressure in the air reservoir when the ignition is switched off. In this case the LED will flash three times.
  • If necessary, the pressure in the air reservoir will be restored when the Audi Q7 is driven at a speed of above 40 km/h.
