Important: Switch the ignition on and turn the light switch to AUTO.
Press the button Fig. 159►. The heat image from the night vision camera will appear on the instrument cluster display.
Press the button again to switch off the night vision assist.
If the ambient conditions are sufficiently bright, the night vision assist can be switched on even when the light switch is not set to AUTO. However, the pedestrian and wild animal highlighting and warning features are only active after dark when the headlights are on.
