Applies to: Audi Q7s with cruise control system The cruise control system allows you to drive at a constant speed of 20 km/h or higher. Pull the lever to position -1- Fig. 124► to switch on the system. Drive at the speed you wish to set the system to. Press the button marked -A- to store the speed. The instrument cluster display will indicate the stored speed, and the indicator lamp will light up. Information is also provided in the head-up display*. A constant speed is maintained by adjusting the engine power or braking the Audi Q7 accordingly. WARNING
CAUTION Before driving down a long, steep gradient, it is advisable to reduce speed and select a lower gear. In this way you will make use of the engine braking effect and relieve the load on the brakes. Note The brake lights come on when the system brakes the Audi Q7.
