If you have changed a tyre, you must activate the function Initialise tyres. The system will then re-scan the tyre pressures for all wheels and store the values. This process can take up to ten minutes. During this time, the tyre pressures and temperatures will not be displayed until the tyre initialisation and correct assignment have been completed.

During this time the system is only partly functional. It will only give a warning if the tyre pressure is below the minimum permitted pressure. The warning may concern one or more tyres. If this should happen, the warning lamp will appear along with a message.
