Audi Q7   General maintenance   Wheels and tyres  Tyre pressure monitoring system
To enable the tyre pressure monitoring system to work reliably, it is important to store the correct pressure settings.
To ensure that the tyre pressure monitoring system works properly, the tyre pressure reference settings always need to be stored again if you have altered the tyre pressures, for instance to suit a heavier or lighter load.
Adjusting tyres to correct pressures
Check the tyre pressures.
Look up the tyre pressures on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar and adjust all the tyres to the correct pressures.
Storing tyre pressure settings
Important: The ignition must be switched on.
Select: Function selector button CAR > Systems* > Tyre pressure monitoring > Store tyre pressures.
The tyre pressure monitoring system will then measure the current tyre pressures and store them as the new reference values. If the new tyre pressures do not appear in the MMI display, you will need to drive a short distance so that the sensor signal from the wheels can be received again.
