Audi Q7   General maintenance   Wheels and tyres  Tyre pressure monitoring system
Applies to vehicles: with tyre pressure monitoring system and V12 TDI engine
The yellow indicator lamp will appear if one or more of the tyres has suffered a slight loss of pressure.
If the warning lamp appears, the tyre pressure on at least one of the wheels is too low.
Stop at the next opportunity.
Look up the tyre pressures on the sticker on the driver's door pillar and adjust all the tyres to the correct pressures.
Store the new tyre pressures Link.
If the tyre pressure is more than 0.3 bar below the reference value, the display will show the indicator lamp with a corresponding message Fig. 1.
Note
  • Only adjust the inflation pressure of the tyres when they are at approximately ambient temperature. If the tyre temperatures are higher than the ambient temperature the inflation pressures should be increased by 0.1 bar above the temperatures specified on the tyre pressure sticker for every 10 °C above ambient temperature.
  • If you have deliberately reduced the tyre pressures for any reason, the new pressures must be stored in the system as the reference values Link.
