An indicator lamp will appear in the instrument cluster display if there is a fault in the adaptive air suspension.
- If the indicator lamp lights up, there is a malfunction in the system resulting in impaired ride comfort and reduced ground clearance. Drive to a qualified workshop soon and have the fault rectified.
- If the indicator lamp flashes, the suspension is at an extremely high position. The suspension may assume an extremely high position, for example, if a very heavy weight has been unloaded from the vehicle. The indicator lamp will stop flashing when the suspension returns to a normal level, and you can start driving.
- If the indicator lamps and flash, the suspension is at an extremely low position. Do not drive off as this could damage the underside of the vehicle. The suspension may assume an extremely low position, for example, if a very heavy weight is being carried in the vehicle. The indicator lamps will stop flashing when the suspension returns to a normal level, and you can start driving.
Caution!
Do not drive off if either of the indicator lamps or is flashing. Otherwise low-mounted parts of the vehicle could be damaged when driving over uneven road surfaces.
