Applies to vehicles: with electrically adjustable steering column
The easy entry function gives improved access to the vehicle by automatically moving the steering column.
Switching on and off
Press the lower button on the left of the steering column Fig. 1 -B-.
With the easy entry function switched on (button pressed in), the steering column moves upwards into the parked position when the ignition is switched off. The steering column moves into the memorised position when the ignition is switched on.
On vehicles with memory function*
The function for recalling the steering column position is only operative if the driver's seat memory is switched on (ON/OFF button must be pressed in).
If the easy entry function is switched off, the steering column moves into the memorised position when the seat position recall button is pressed.
