Dirty or damp items can be stored beneath the floor panel.
Placing in an upright position
Take hold of the handle -A- Fig. 1, lift the floor panel into an upright position and insert the bottom corners of the floor panel into the recesses -B-.
Removing and installing
Take hold of the handle -A- and fold back the floor panel as far as the rear backrest.
To remove the floor panel, pull the complete panel towards the rear of the vehicle and out of the guide rails Fig. 2.
To install the floor panel, insert it at the front of the guide rails and push it towards the backrests as far as the stop.
If you would like to remove the dirt tray, lift it out by the handle.
On vehicles with a third row of seats*, it is not possible to fold back the floor panel, but you can place it in an upright position. If you have removed the floor panel you must make sure that the hooks are pushed into the guides underneath the third row of seats when re-installing the floor panel.
WARNING!
Objects weighing more than 15 kg must not be transported beneath the floor panel. Objects may not exceed 2/3 of the height of the upright floor panel - risk of injury! The objects must be suitably secured.
