You can change the settings for these functions on the MMI.
Select: Function selector button CAR > Systems* > Exterior lighting.
coming home / leaving home
The coming home function lights up the area round the vehicle after dark when the ignition has been switched off and the driver's door opened. A setting is available for controlling how long the lights stay on.
The leaving home function lights up the area round the vehicle after dark when the vehicle is unlocked. The function can be switched on or off as required.
The coming home and leaving home functions are operational when the light switch is set to AUTO.
Daytime running lights*
The daytime running lights are switched on and off1) together with the ignition.
1) This function is not available on all export versions.
