The LED on the remote control key is a source of information.
Vehicle within range of remote control
If the vehicle is within the range of the remote control the LED will light up once briefly when you press one of the buttons.
Vehicle outside range of remote control
If the vehicle is outside the range of the remote control the LED will light up briefly once and then indicate the vehicle locking status:
- If the lamp flashes rapidly the vehicle is not locked.
- If the lamp flashes slowly the vehicle is locked.
Condition of key battery
If the LED does not flash, this means the battery is exhausted and must be replaced Link. In addition, the indicator lamp 
in the instrument cluster display will light up and a message will appear.

Please note that you can only call up information on the current locking status of the vehicle with the remote control key last used for locking the vehicle. The other remote control key may show a different, incorrect locking status.
