Important: The directory must be open Link, the phone pre-installation Link or the car telephone kit Link must be activated and the automatic import of directory entries on a mobile phone or SIM card must be completed.
Press the function selector button marked SETUP.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Create profile and press the rotary pushbutton. The profile name will appear on the MMI display.
To store the profile, turn the rotary pushbutton to Yes and press to confirm.
The Bluetooth name of the connected mobile phone or SIM card is automatically stored as the profile name. However, you can store your own profile name Link.
Note
The menu option Create profile is only visible when a mobile phone is connected or a SIM card is inserted in the handset* for the car telephone kit or the SIM card reader. In addition, no profile must already have been stored for the mobile phone or SIM card currently connected.
