The central locking system can be adjusted to your individual settings. The settings depend on the equipment fitted in your vehicle.
Select the following on the infotainment system: MENU button > Car > left control button > Vehicle settings
> Central locking.
Doors to unlock – You can select whether all doors or only the driver s door are unlocked by the central locking system. The boot lid will also be unlocked if you select all. If you select driver s door on vehicles with convenience key*,
only the driver’s door will be unlocked when you grip it by the handle. Gripping any of the other door handles unlocks the whole vehicle.
When the driver s door setting is activated, you can still unlock all the doors and the boot lid by pressing the
button on the vehicle key twice.
Long press to open windows – You can set whether all windows and the sun roof can be opened using the vehicle key link►.
Pressing and holding the
button on the vehicle key will always close all the windows and the sun roof.
(Applies to vehicles with convenience key: ) Open with convenience key – You can deactivate the function for unlocking the vehicle via sensor. It is still possible to lock the vehicle via sensor link►.
Disable boot lid handle – If you select on, you can no longer open the luggage compartment using the release catch on the boot lid. In this case, you can open the boot lid using the
button on the vehicle key or in the driver s door. On vehicles with convenience key*,
the release catch on the boot lid can still be used to open the luggage compartment if an authorised vehicle key is near the proximity sensor*.
Lock when driving1) – If you select on, the doors and the boot lid will be locked automatically when you are driving (Auto Lock).
Fold mirrors – If you select on, the exterior mirrors will be folded in automatically when you press the
button on the vehicle key or touch the sensor* on the door handle.
