The micro SD card reader is located in the Audi tablet -6- Fig. ►.
For information on the specifications of supported micro SD cards, please refer to the information starting on link►.
- Preparing a tool: Use a paper clip as a tool. Bend the end of the paper clip straight -1- Fig. 265►. Or: Use the tool for ejecting SIM cards on your smartphone.
- Opening the cover: Press the end of the paper clip into the round aperture -2- Fig. 265► so that the SD card holder is ejected.
- Removing the SD card: Pull the cover out of the Audi tablet together with the SD card holder. Remove the micro SD card from the SD card holder.
- Inserting the SD card: Place the micro SD card in the SD card holder -3- Fig. 265►. Slide the SD card holder into the slot in the card reader -4- Fig. 265► until you feel it engage.
You can play the media (e.g. audio files) stored on the micro SD card by selecting the media source Audi tablet link►.
WARNING
For safety reasons the card slot cover must always be closed while driving - risk of injury!
CAUTION
- To avoid damaging the SD card reader, only use micro SD cards (11 mm x 15 mm). Please contact your qualified workshop for more information on micro SD cards.
- Should you have inserted a different card size in the micro SD card reader, do not under any circumstances attempt to remove it yourself as this may damage the micro SD card reader. Please contact a qualified workshop.
- If you use SD card adapters, the vibrations caused by the movement of the vehicle may cause the micro SD card to become detached from the adapter. This may cause damage to the Audi tablet.
Note
Store the SD cards in a suitable case to protect them from dirt and dust and to avoid damage.
