Applies to: vehicles with TV
You can receive TV channels via the MMI system.
- Fig. 256 TV channel list
Press the MEDIA button. Press the left control button repeatedly until the source overview is displayed.
Select TV > Channel list.
- To select a channel: Select a channel from the channel list and confirm it. Or: Move the MMI control console s ON/OFF button to the left
or right 
. - To switch from the TV picture to the channel list: Turn or press the rotary pushbutton.
You can receive digital TV channels in the ISDB-Tb standard 2).
The following information is displayed in the channel list Fig. 256►:
The high-resolution 12-segment TV channels -1- Fig. 256► are displayed at the top and the low-resolution 1-segment TV channels -2- Fig. 256► are displayed at the bottom of the channel list.
Note
- For safety reasons, the TV picture is not available while the vehicle is moving. While you are driving, only the sound is played.
- The digital terrestrial television network is not available in all countries nationwide. Please obtain information regarding terrestrial TV reception in the region you live in. Reception is dependent on a number of factors, e.g. the distance to the transmitter and the speed at which the vehicle is travelling.
- The volume will automatically be muted if the TV reception becomes poor. The volume will be switched on again automatically if the TV reception quality improves.
- Encrypted programmes/Pay TV channels are not supported.
