You will find several storage compartments and retainers at various points in the vehicle:
- In the headliner above the interior mirror
- In the front centre console*
- At the front end of the front seats*. You can store objects weighing up to 1.5 kg in the drawer and objects weighing up to 1 kg in the hinged compartment.
- In the trim panels on the doors
- Coat hooks above the rear doors
- Net* in the passenger's footwell
- Nets* on the backrests of the front seats
- Net* on the underside of the luggage compartment cover
- Net* in the luggage compartment trim (right side)
- Coat hooks/retaining hooks in the luggage compartment
- Always keep the lid of the compartment above the interior mirror closed while the vehicle is in motion to reduce the risk of injury during a sudden braking manoeuvre or in the event of an accident.
- Make sure that any items of clothing hanging from the coat hooks do not obstruct your view to the rear.
- Only use the coat hooks for light items of clothing and make sure that there are no heavy or sharp objects in the pockets.
- Do not use clothes hangers to hang up the clothing, as this could interfere with the function of the head-protection airbags*.
- The storage compartments in the door trims should only be used to store small objects. Make sure that they are stored safely inside the compartment, as otherwise they might impair the protection offered by the side airbags.
