The entries on your SIM card and your mobile phone are automatically loaded into the MMI.
Loading directory entries
After the mobile phone has been connected or the SIM card has been inserted, the directory entries are automatically loaded into the MMI. It may take several minutes to load the entries, depending on how many entries are stored on the mobile phone or SIM card.
You can store directory entries in the general profile and in up to four personal profiles Link.
Displaying directory entries
The directory entries are displayed in alphabetical order and are marked with a symbol Fig. 2:

You can store private and business entries with the categories land line, mobile and fax in the directory.
Note
- Which directory entries are displayed on the MMI will depend on the mobile phone you are using.
- If the SIM card is inserted in the handset* Link, the SIM card entries and the entries in the local MMI memory will be displayed.
- In certain cases, directory entries from a mobile phone may not be transmitted in alphabetical order. If there are too many directory entries, entries with certain initial letters may not be displayed on the MMI system.
