Applies to Audi Q3s: with camera-based speed limit display
Calling up the speed limit display
Press the button on the multi-function steering wheel.
Scroll and press the thumbwheel to select the Speed limit display from the Car functions menu.
Activating the secondary display
You can also activate the speed limit display in other display tabs, e.g. in the navigation display Fig. 1.
Select the following on the infotainment system*: Function selector button CAR > control button Systems / Car systems > Driver assist > Speed limit display > Display in instrument cluster > on.
Displaying signs for trailers
You can also display speed limits which apply specially to Audi Q3s towing a trailer.
Select the following on the infotainment system*: Function selector button CAR > control button Systems / Car systems > Driver assist > Speed limit display > Signs for trailers > on.
Secondary display
If the instrument cluster is currently showing a function other than the speed limit display, the speed limit will be displayed in the top right-hand corner Fig. 1. The following speed limits will be shown there (subject to general system limitations):
- The speed limit for wet weather will be displayed when the windscreen wipers are on.
- If you select on for Signs for trailers on the infotainment system*, the speed limits applying specially to Audi Q3s towing a trailer will be displayed.
- Speed limits applying at certain times of day will also be displayed.
Note
If you activate the Signs for trailers option, the system will show the maximum national speed limit for Audi Q3s towing a trailer. Different speed limits are not displayed for different types of towed transport Audi Q3.
