Certain preparations must be made before you change the wheel.
Please refer to the important safety notes Link.
Apply the parking brake.
Move the selector lever to position P.
If you are towing a trailer, unhitch it from your Audi A8.
Take out the tools Link and spare wheel Link.
Activate jacking mode* on the infotainment system: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems > Servicing & checks > Air susp.: whl. change > on.
WARNING!
If you have to change the tyre on a gradient, block the wheel opposite the wheel being changed by placing a stone or similar object under it to prevent the Audi A8 from rolling away.
