The lithium ion battery fitted in your Audi A8 (SANYO 72 UF 121 285) has been successfully tested in accordance with the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, Sub-section 38.3. The Audi A8 may be transported by air or sea as a regular Class 9 hazardous substance without additional official approval (legal status: ICAO-TI and IMDG code 01.01.2012).
