You can select a colour profile for the background lighting and adjust the brightness in different zones of the Audi A8 interior.
Switching on the background lighting
Select the following in the infotainment system: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems > Audi A8 settings > Background lighting > on.
Switching off / adjusting the brightness
You can adjust the brightness separately for four zones: Front top, Front bottom, Rear top and Rear bottom, or simultaneously for All zones.
Select the following in the infotainment system: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems > Audi A8 settings > Background lighting > Brightness.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to select the desired zone and press to confirm. The bars in the display indicate the brightness.
Turn and press the rotary pushbutton to increase or reduce the brightness.
Selecting a colour profile*
You can choose between the following colour profiles: Ivory, Polar and Ruby/polar.
Select the following in the infotainment system: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems > Audi A8 settings > Background lighting > Colour profile.
The background lighting will be switched on when you switch on the headlights with the ignition on (provided that the function is activated in the infotainment system).
Note
The settings will be automatically stored and assigned to the remote control key in use.
