-A- Tilting open/closing
To tilt the sun roof fully open, briefly press the switch to the second position.
To close the sun roof completely, briefly pull the switch to the second position WARNING!.
To set an intermediate position, press/pull the switch to the first position until the sun roof has reached the desired position.
-B- Sliding open/closing (version 1)
To slide the sun roof open to the position for low wind noise, briefly press the switch backwards to the second position. The sun roof will open fully if you press the switch to the second position again.
To close the sun roof completely, briefly press the switch forwards to the second position WARNING!.
To set an intermediate position, press the switch forwards/backwards to the first position until the sun roof has reached the desired position.
-B- Sliding open/closing (version 2)
To slide the sun roof fully open, briefly press the switch backwards to the second position.
To close the sun roof completely, briefly press the switch forwards to the second position WARNING!.
To set an intermediate position, press the switch forwards/backwards to the first position until the sun roof has reached the desired position.
The sliding headliner can be opened and closed manually when the sun roof is closed. The sliding headliner opens automatically when you slide open the sun roof.
The sun roof can be operated for about ten minutes after the ignition has been switched off. The switch is deactivated immediately when one of the front doors is opened.
Take care when closing the sun roof. Careless or uncontrolled use of the sun roof can cause injuries. For this reason, always take the ignition key with you when leaving the vehicle.
Caution!
You should always close the sun roof when leaving the car. Sudden rain could seriously damage your vehicle's interior equipment, especially the on-board electronic systems.
