The driver intervention prompt warns you to take action in the following situations:
- If the adaptive cruise control system alone is not able to brake the vehicle sufficiently to maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front.
- If the adaptive cruise control sets the vehicle in motion* and an obstacle is detected.
