Finding contact
When you enter the initial letter of a contact you want to find,
the cursor jumps through the list to the contacts starting with
that letter.
When a contact is selected, you can call up the following functions
by pressing the control button for Ok:
- Select Details to display the surname, first name and telephone number of the contact; you can edit the contact by selecting Edit contact.
- You can delete a selected contact with Delete contact. Press Call to dial the telephone number of the contact.
New contact
Enter the name and telephone number you would like to store
and select Store contact. You can
also store the contact as a Public contact

Sort order
You can sort the contacts in your phone book alphabetically
according to the Surname or
First name.
Public contacts
You can choose to display or hide the contacts stored in the
local MMI memory (public).
Speed dial
When a speed dialling number has been assigned and the corresponding
entry has been selected, you can call up the following functions
by pressing the control button for Ok:
- Select Edit to edit the position of the telephone number in the speed dial list. Use the navigation button to scroll to a contact and press the control button for Ok twice. The contact will be stored at the selected position.
- Select Delete to delete the selected telephone number from the speed dial list.
Memory capacity
The Memory capacity of the directory/phone
book you are currently using and the total memory will be displayed.
Delete all contacts
- Select Private contacts to delete all contacts stored in the local MMI memory (private).
- Select Public contacts if you want to delete all contacts stored in the local MMI memory (public).
Note
You can delete only the contacts in the local MMI memory
