Depending on the vehicle equipment, the MMI control console has
either an MMI touch pad* or direct selection
buttons.
-1- MMI touch pad*
- Entering letters, numbers and symbols
- Moving the crosshairs on the map in navigation mode or adjusting the sound focus
- Storing the station the radio is currently tuned to or selecting a stored radio station
- Browsing through album covers
- Operating the DVD main menu
-2- Control buttons
To call up a function displayed in one of the corners of the
display. For instance, the bottom right control button corresponds
with the bottom right corner of the display

- To tune to the previous/next radio station, TV channel etc.
- To activate fast rewind/forward, for example in CD mode.
-5- Function selector buttons
- To call up an overview of all main functions: press the function selector button for MENU.
- To call up a main function (e.g. radio) directly: press the function selector button for RADIO.
-6- BACK button
To cancel a selection that has not been confirmed or to return
to the previous function level.
-7- Rotary pushbutton
To select a function on the MMI display or to confirm a selection.
-8- Direct selection buttons 1-6
- To store the station the radio is currently tuned to: press and hold the button you would like to store the station to.
- To select a stored radio station: press the corresponding button briefly.
