 Audi A6 Avant    Self-help    Self-help  Changing a wheel
Change the wheel as described below.
Activate the jacking mode* Link.
Remove the wheel cover. Also refer to Link or Link.
Loosen the wheel bolts Link.
Raise the car with the jack* Link.
Take off the wheel with the flat tyre and then put on the spare wheel* Link.
Lower the vehicle to the ground.
Tighten the wheel bolts firmly in diagonal sequence with the box spanner Link.
Fit the wheel cover back on.
Deactivate jacking mode* on the MMI: Function selector button CAR > control button (Car)* Systems > Servicing & checks > Air susp.: whl. change > off.
The jacking mode* is automatically deactivated once the speed exceeds 10 km/h.
