Applies to vehicles: with electric luggage compartment cover
When you open the boot lid, an electric motor moves the luggage compartment cover into position -B-. You do not have to release the cover to load or unload your luggage.
Hooking into place
The electric luggage compartment cover will move up and down automatically if you insert it at position -A- Fig. 1 and allow it to slide up to position -B-. The cover automatically opens and closes together with the boot lid.
To fix the luggage compartment cover in place, hook it in at position -A-. The luggage compartment will be obscured from view. The cover automatically slides up again the next time you open the boot lid.
The cover can only be unhooked and retracted from position -A-.
Removing
Unhook the cover at position -A- and let it roll up.
Pull the lever as far as the stop in the direction of the arrow Fig. 2 and lift out the cover.
Installing
Place the left end of the cover in the left mounting in the side trim.
Place the right end of the cover in the right mounting and press it down until it engages.
WARNING!
The luggage compartment cover should not be used as a storage shelf. Items placed on this cover could cause injury in an accident or if the brakes are applied suddenly.
Caution!
To prevent any damage, let the luggage compartment cover retract slowly.
