Certain preparations must be made before you change the wheel.

Apply the parking brake.
Applies to: vehicles with manual gearbox
Engage first gear.
Applies to: vehicles with manual gearbox
Applies to: vehicles with automatic gearbox
Move the selector lever to position P.
Applies to: vehicles with automatic gearbox
If you are towing a trailer, unhitch it from your vehicle.
Take out the tools ►Link and spare wheel* ►Link.
Activate jacking mode* on the infotainment system: Function selector button CAR > control button (Car)* Systems > Servicing & checks > Air susp.: whl. change > on.
WARNING!
If you have to change the tyre on a gradient, block the wheel opposite the wheel being changed by placing a stone or similar object under it to prevent the vehicle from rolling away.
