Applies to: vehicles with adaptive air suspension
You can raise your vehicle temporarily to drive onto a pavement with a high kerb, for instance.
Raising the vehicle
Select the following on the infotainment system: Function selector button CAR > control button Raise.
Wait until the arrows or segments on the infotainment display stop flashing and the vehicle has reached its end position.
Lowering the vehicle
To lower the vehicle again, select the following on the infotainment system: Function selector button CAR > control button Lower.
Wait until the arrows or segments on the infotainment display stop flashing and the vehicle has been lowered.
Caution!
- Please note that your vehicle is not suitable for off-road driving, even when the suspension is raised. There may still be insufficient ground clearance in some situations.
- The vehicle will automatically be lowered from the raised position at speeds above 100 km/h.
- Applies to: Saloon/Avant
Caution!
The Raise function is automatically deactivated at speeds above approx. 35 km/h and the suspension height is reduced again automatically.
- Applies to: A6 allroad
Note
- The current suspension level is indicated by solid segments on the infotainment system display. If a white segment is shown or if the segments are flashing, the suspension is being raised or lowered. If only the bottom segment is highlighted, the suspension is at the lowest level (minimum ground clearance). If all segments are highlighted, the suspension is at the highest level (maximum ground clearance).
- When you select Raise, the suspension is raised to the highest level and allroad mode is selected.
- To lower the suspension again, select Lower and, if necessary, any mode other than allroad.
- Applies to: A6 allroad
