Luggage compartment: Securing the bag*

Applies to: vehicles with load-through hatch and ski bag
The ski bag* must be secured in the luggage compartment.
Two belts -A- Fig. 1 with hooks are attached to the bottom side of the bag*. In addition, a fastening belt -B- Fig. 2 is secured to the bag.
To secure the bag in the luggage compartment, insert the hooks into the rear fastening rings Fig. 1.
To prevent the luggage from sliding around in the bag, pull the fastening belt on the bag Fig. 2 to tighten.
WARNING!
  • The bag is intended only for carrying skis and other light items. To reduce the risk of severe injuries, never carry heavy or sharp items in the bag.
  • The bag must be secured in place with the fastening belt after it has been loaded.
  • Make sure that all objects transported in the load-through hatch are secured. They could be catapulted through the passenger compartment in case of a braking manoeuvre or accident - risk of injury!
Note
  • Fold up the bag only when it is dry.
  • If you are transporting skis or snowboards, pull the fastening belt tight between the bindings.
  • Place skis in the bag with their tips facing forwards, snowboards and ski poles with their tips facing backwards.
