Headphones are available from specialist retailers.
NFC-capable Bluetooth headphones
Important: NFC and Bluetooth must be activated on the Audi tablet. The Audi tablet must be switched on and not in standby mode.
- Switch on your NFC-capable headphones.
- Hold the NFC zone of the headphones1) against the NFC zone of the Audi tablet -9- Fig. 1 to automatically connect the devices via Bluetooth.
Bluetooth headphones
Important: Bluetooth must be activated on the Audi tablet. The Audi tablet must be switched on and not in standby mode.
- Switch on your Bluetooth headphones.
- Follow the instructions in the operating instructions for your headphones to establish a Bluetooth connection.
Wired headphones
3.5 mm jack plug: Insert the headphone connector into the Audi tablet -4- Fig. 1 until the jack plug engages fully.
WARNING!
- For safety reasons, the driver should only use the headphones when the vehicle is stationary - risk of accident!
- Always make sure that the headphones are securely stowed when the vehicle is moving to prevent them from being catapulted through the car under braking or in an accident - risk of injury!
- Keep the headphone volume at an appropriate level. Listening at a very high volume for long periods can cause hearing damage.
Note
- When the headphones are connected to the headphone port -4- Fig. 1, the wired headphones receive priority for the audio output. If wireless headphones are already connected, these are muted.
- When you connect the headphones, excessive volume levels are reduced automatically to a maximum level.
- For wired headphones with integrated remote control, the remote control functions are not supported.
- Please observe the information in the operating instructions for your headphones.
1) On NFC-capable devices, the NFC zone may be identified by an "n" mark.
