Applies to vehicles with DVB-T tuner:
You can receive digital TV channels and radio stations1) in the DVB-T/DVB-T2 standard via the MMI system.
Applies to vehicles with ISDB-Tb tuner:
You can receive digital TV channels in the ISDB-Tb2) standard3).
Note
Applies to vehicles with TV:
- For safety reasons, the TV picture is not available while the vehicle is moving. While you are driving, only the sound is played.
- The digital terrestrial television network is not available in all countries nationwide. Please obtain information regarding terrestrial TV reception in the region you live in. Reception is dependent on a number of factors, e.g. the distance to the transmitter and the speed at which the vehicle is travelling.
- The volume will automatically be muted if the TV reception becomes poor. The volume will be switched on again automatically if the TV reception quality improves.
- Pay TV is not supported.
Note
Applies to vehicles with DVB-T tuner:
- Encrypted programmes/Pay TV channels are not supported.
- The TV reception depends on digital network availability and DVB-T2 network parameters (DVB-T2 lite and multi-PLP networks are not supported). For more information, contact your network provider.
- The DVB-T receiver supports the audio/video formats MPEG-2 and MPEG-4*. Standards such as DVB via satellite (DVB-S) or DVB for hand-held devices (DVB-H) are not supported.
