Applies to: vehicles with Audi tablet

You can set the sound from the audio/video source to be played over the vehicle's loudspeakers or the headphones on the Audi tablet.

The audio output over the vehicle's loudspeakers can be activated for the left or right Audi tablet. At the same time, the audio output for the other Audi tablet can be transmitted to wireless or wired headphones.

Setting the audio output over the vehicle's loudspeakers

Important: The Audi tablet must be connected to the MMI system ►Link. The Allow media content function must be activated. Refer to ►Link.

Swipe your finger downwards from the top right edge of the screen to open the Quick settings menu -12- Fig. 1.
Tap on Share audio.

The following table provides an overview of the audio output status. The corresponding symbol is displayed at position -3- Fig. 2:

Symbol	Meaning
	The sound is being output to Bluetooth headphones.
	The sound is being output to wired headphones.
Car symbol -3- Fig. 2	The sound is being output via the vehicle's loudspeakers.
	The Audi tablet is connected to the MMI but no sound is being output. To switch on the audio output, connect the headphones ►Link. Or: Set the audio for output over the vehicle's loudspeakers .

If audio output from one of the Audi tablets is directed to the vehicle's loudspeakers while an MMI media source is being played, and if the audio share has been activated, the MMI source will be switched over.
