Applies to Audi A6s: with efficiency programme
The efficiency programme can help to save fuel. It shows a list of auxiliary equipment and also provides economy tips for saving fuel. The efficiency programme uses the trip and fuel consumption data from the on-board computer.
To display the efficiency programme, call up the DIS menu and select Efficiency programme.
Auxiliaries
In the Energy consumers view, auxiliary equipment currently affecting the Audi A6's fuel consumption is listed. The display shows up to three auxiliaries -B- Fig. 1. The auxiliary load drawing the most power appears at the top of the list. If more than three auxiliaries are switched on, the ones currently using the most power are displayed.
In addition, a scale -A- indicates the overall current fuel consumption of all auxiliary equipment.
Economy tips
Economy tips will automatically appear intermittently in the efficiency programme in certain situations Fig. 2. By following these economy tips, you can save fuel.
To clear an economy tip from the display immediately, press any of the controls on the multi-function steering wheel.
Note
- The values in the on-board computer are reset when you clear the data from the efficiency programme.
- Once you have cleared an economy tip from the display, it will not appear again until the next time you switch on the ignition.
- The economy tips are not always displayed in every conceivable situation, but are deliberately spaced out over time.
