Data protection
Important: The ignition must be switched on.
Location and personal data may be transmitted when using Audi connect services. You can opt out of this by activating data protection.
- Activate data protection: The data connection is restricted or deactivated. Some Audi connect services are not available. On vehicles with Audi connect emergency call and service link►, location and vehicle data are transmitted when an emergency call is placed. When you use the online roadside assistance*, function, no data are transmitted with the call.
- Deactivate data protection: If the data connection is restricted or deactivated, you can switch on the data connection to use all the Audi connect services. Select and confirm Activate data connection.

Applies to: vehicles with emergency call function
On vehicles with Audi connect emergency call and service, a data connection is required and cannot be deactivated. Location data are only transmitted together with the vehicle data if an emergency call is placed.
